NDEMA RUKANDEMA

Ndema is an experienced General Manager having worked in a number of key African countries with developed networks across the African continent. He spent 16 years at The Coca-Cola Company, working across the African continent. Before he departed, he was the General Manager for the Horn, Islands and Mid-Africa.Ndema started his Career with the Coca-Cola System in January 1998 as Market Development Manager, Coca-Cola Africa Limited based in Uganda. He then worked as General Sales Manager, Century Bottling Company Uganda between January 2000 and October 2001 before being moved to Kenya where he assumed the same role in the Kenyan operation. (General Sales Manager – Coca-Cola Nairobi Bottlers). Ndema then relocated to Uganda, where he was appointed Managing Director of the Century Bottling Company. In January 2006, he took up the role of Managing Director, Coca-Cola Kwanza, Tanzania before moving on to Coca-Cola Nigeria at the end of 2007 as General Manager of Franchise Operations.
Ndema received a number of awards during his time at the Coca-Cola Company notable amongst which is recognition by the Uganda Investment Authority for being the first Ugandan to head Coca-Cola Century Bottling Company; He was also awarded the CEO’s award by Coca- Cola Sabco for the ‘Best performing Country’ in 2005.
He qualified as a Biochemist from the University College, London and went on to complete an MBA at City University Business School, London.
